Fish Faces

I ask the children to suck in their cheeks when I need them to be quiet. They can't talk when they are doing this. Here are some of our Fish Faces we make when I need quiet.

Zero the Hero Came to Visit

On Friday, August 30th, the Children received a quick visit from Zero the Hero to remind us that the 10th day of school has the all important place holder zero. He brought us Chocolate covered donuts to help us remember his visit. We decided to make our own Zero the Hero 100 charts to commemorate the big event. Unfortunately, we did not get a picture of Zero the Hero. But his note says that he will be back on day 20! We'll try then.

Close Reading

The children join the teacher and other students in the eyeglass club as they get a close reading of their text.
