25 Point Reading Counts Club

Students read selected stories and then take comprehension tests on what they read. If they pass their test with 80% or better, they earn points. The harder the book, the more points it is worth. Every student must earn 1pt. a week. To challenge students, Ms. Matilla, the media specialist offers incentives. At 25 points, the children earn a treat and are entered into the club for an end of the year party. The students pictured have made it into that initial club.
